Medan – Bukit Lawang Orangutan Jungle Trek 4D3N 2027

Arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport, collect your luggage and meet our representative. Horas, Mejuah-juah and welcome to North Sumatra. Continue the drive to Bukit Lawang and check in to the hotel. Free time to enjoy the nature of Bukit Lawang or take a dip in the river. Dinner is served at the hotel. Meals: D

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we trek into the jungle to begin exploring Gunung Leuser National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and its flora and fauna. We will most likely see Sumatran orangutans and other animals such as the vulnerable Thomas's langur, long-tailed macaques, black gibbons and other tropical rainforest flora and fauna. Enjoy a picnic-box lunch and continue trekking through the forest to observe wildlife and tropical birds (trekking takes about 6 hours). In the afternoon we arrive at the tent/shelter, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the jungle at night, and have dinner.

Breakfast in the jungle, then continue exploring Gunung Leuser National Park for 3 hours to spot hornbills and various other wildlife species. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing tube rafting trip down the Bohorok River, each guest on an individual inner tube. A picnic-box lunch is provided. Return to the hotel in Bukit Lawang to rest and enjoy free time. Meals : B, L

Breakfast and hotel check-out. Transfer to the airport. Arrive at Kuala Namu Airport and the tour ends. See you again and stay healthy.
